The Communication Centre for the Oceans-CCOceanos will hold on September 17th a public lecture from the Pharmacy Museum (Lisbon). The topic of the session is "The Ocean Decade under the theme Climate Change / Ocean Forecast, Part II".
The invited speakers are Dr. João Vitorino - Oceanographer Responsible for the Monitoring Network of the Subaquatic Cannon of Nazaré (Hydrographic Institute); Dr. Rui Rosa - Assistant Professor with Aggregation at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon; and Prof. Alexander Turra - Full Professor at the Oceanographic Institute at the University of São Paulo, Brazil (IOUSP).
Nysse Arruda, founder and curator of the Communication Centre for the Oceans (CCOceanos), explains that this special series of lectures in Lisbon is presenting a variety of themes related the Decade of Ocean Science for o Sustainable Development (2021-2030), thus making Portugal a pole of communication and updated information about the Ocean.
